A Brief History of the Clinic
Casas Medical Clinic was
established in 1988 when the principal primary care provider had a
desire to practice in a setting that provided comprehensive care to a
deserving underserved population of people. The geographic location
selected was excellent in that it is accessible to patients of all
ethnic and economic backgrounds. The clinic was named after Viviana Luna
Casas who believed that regardless of your chosen occupation we all have
to capacity to improve the "human condition" by caring for the
unfortunate and those in need. We feel, like her, that the unfortunate
are frequently on an island of despair surrounded by an ocean of
prosperity. We have
access to up to date publications needed to stay current with our
medical knowledge and we are products of the UCLA Medical School and all
of its programs of continuing education. We have a staff of board
certified family practice physicians recently graduated as well as
physician assistants with over 30 years of experience to assist our
clients with their medical needs. |
